BEVERAGE SERVICE WITH FLAIR DIPLOMA PROGRAM
Florida Technical College offers a unique program called Beverage Services With Flair. This is NOT a short “Bartender” training, but an in-depth, high quality 10-month “Beverage Service” program potentially opening the doors to the highest rated establishments. This program includes 10 classes, broken down into 5 laboratories and 5 theories.
Some of the techniques you will acquire during the training include:
- How to Chill a Glass
- How to Frost a Glass
- How to Muddler
- To Stir or Not To Stir
- Using Fruits and Fruit Juices
- Open Wine, Champagne or Sparkling Wine
The students who graduate from the Beverage Service with Flair Program can aspire to entry level Hospitality Industry positions that relate to the Beverage and Customer Service Field. All graduated students will have the knowledge to perform basic and specialized techniques needed to begin a successful career as a professional Bartender. The employment opportunities for graduates from the Florida Technical College Beverage Service with Flair Diploma program include but are not limited to: hotels, resorts, restaurants, own businesses, theme parks and cruises ships, nightclubs, community clubs, lounge and personal bartender.
