Florida Technical College is moved to present to you a campaign dedicated to help the less fortunate right here, in our communities: “Together As ONE, We Will Overcome”
Florida Technical College is currently actively participating in Casa de Jubilo’s “Hope on the Streets“, an outreach program ministry for the homeless. Since 2014, Florida Technical College, in conjunction with Casa Jubilo, has had the opportunity to serve the local homeless population, many of them children, and will continue to do so as long as we can keep up with the demand.
Florida Technical College needs your help to continue the outreach. We have started collecting donations for our local communities, and will continue doing so for the next couple of months. Right now we are in need of basic supplies such as shoes, pants, shirts and baby items. We will also collect medical supplies, basic hygiene supplies, canned foods and water.
We have been fortunate enough to have clients, vendors, and business partners donate four TV’s that we will raffle off to those who drop off items at the campuses. Every time you come in with a donation, you will receive one raffle ticket per item, and a chance to win a TV!
Each of the participating campuses is collecting a particular type of donation. Once we’ve reached our goal of receiving 2,016 items per campus, we will then raffle to see who wins the TV’s.
